Take a ride through the old Rampart / Perdido Neighborhood where Louis Armstrong grew up and Charles "Buddy" Bolden first played what is now known as "Jazz".

Explore the beautiful Garden District and pass amongst famous celebrities homes such as Sandra Bullock and Jesse James and Archie and Olivia Manning's House, where famed quarterbacks Eli Manning of the New York Giants , Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Businessman, Cooper Manning grew up.

Take a ride to an above ground cemetery, where contrary to what most believe, everyone is not buried above ground. We will stop for a short tour of St. Louis Cemetery #3. After our stop we will have a restroom and refreshment break at City Park, the 5th largest Municipal Park in the nation. When leaving City Park we will pass Holt Cemetery the most historical below ground Black cemetery in the South. This is where many famous black musicians and honorable war Veterans are laid to rest.

We will then learn the difference between the Ninth Ward and the Lower Ninth Ward which is separated by a canal. Learn of the Lower Ninth Ward which was devastated post Katrina by a breach in the canal flood wall that flooded the area with over 11 feet of water. We will pass Fats Domino's house and publishing headquarters which is just a few blocks away from the breached canal flood wall.

Thereafter we will continue to the area that has been adopted by Brad Pitt's Organization, Make it Right 9 helping to rebuild New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward, where the organization introduces pioneering designs and green Eco-friendly storm resistant houses. Last but not least come visit the Ninth Ward, where famous celebrity and New Orleans native, Harry Connick Jr.'s ,dedication and collaboration with Habitat for Humanity developed what is known as Musician's Village.

Plantation tours will consist of a walking tour at the famous Laura and Oak Alley Plantations. The beautiful Oak Alley Plantation is located on the Mississippi River between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Movies such as Interview with a Vampire and Midnight Bayou were filmed there.

Laura Plantation offers a fascinating world of the creoles who at this historic site lived charmed and tragic lives. Both plantations relay the historic beauty of Louisiana and the memories of age old creole traditions.
